I forgot to tell you about an incredibly special moment. All of our students at SASSDS had collected money for the Chai-Bar to rebuild after the money. Dr. Resnick presented our guide with the check along with lots of tzedakah money from our kids. He was so touched and said it would go towards water cannons to protect the area from future fires. WOW- what a mitzvah. He said that we always have a home at the Chai-Bar. The kids felt so good...
